I love this idea of this game, i love the dark comedy feel of it. A fun addition to the beginning of the game would be a "choose your chicken" kind of like a choose your fighter esc intro, that every time you start over you can choose a new chicken, and maybe their names can be randomized to something funny like "Clucky, Destroyer of Worlds" or "Ruffles the Demon Slayer." I like the concept and can't wait to see more if you choose to continue this!
Really unique and funny. I like being a chicken. If you proceed with this for your final, I'd add some chicken noises at the beginning while we're still in the coop. Something that got annoying was the same noise happening over again once you entered a new passage, so maybe add a continuing song throughout the whole game to remedy that. Also, I'd love to see some illustrations of the chickens and the farmer incorporated into the game. Lastly, there are some capitalization and punctuation errors that need fixing. Other than that, good job!
Super interesting theme! Never thought of playing as a chicken. All the images are well placed and it keeps me engaged. If you take this to a finish, I would like to see more endings! The texts are a little bit hard to see, but overall love the humor and concept of this game.
The theme is so fun and the music adds effects that providing a vibe to the game. Some of the words are a little difficult to see, maybe it is because the background is a little bit complicated. I would like to see more endings and more options in this game. Overall, it is still a very playable game!
This is super funny! My one issue is that it's really hard to read the white text over the black and white image, and the links are even harder for me to spot. I also would love to see some of your own art in this game! Still enjoyable to play; I love the humor.
It's very funny, the music and the background images are so funny when paired with the very normal looking pictures that are shown when you choose different options. I love the concept, having grown up on a chicken farm I'm shaking in my boots lol.

One of the things I found myself wishing for was more options on what to fight and what to do; perhaps you could incorporate a random number generation and implement damage and health and increase the various opportunities for battle? I think balancing out the fighting part with the part of getting into the house will strengthen the themes of your game.
This is a very interesting concept! Something is very interesting about a murder chicken and I was excited to keep playing and find out what I could do. If you take this one to final, I think you should add some more endings! I like what you have so far though. My only problem was that the text was difficult to read on your background at times, and your music (while being very appropriate for the theme) was a bit too loud for me to properly enjoy.
Viability: The mechanic where your chicken can actually die and then you start playing as a different chicken is interesting, maybe for more replayability the narrative could change a bit, since we are now a different character? Maybe the second chicken notices something the first didn't, or vice versa. Presentation: The background image should be darker, or the text have a slight black border or something to make it stand out better. It is a bit hard to read in some places, and the links themselves are very hard to read (especially after clicking them). The sound is jarring, and while I think it does help establish the atmosphere of the game, it is too much. The low quality of it and loudness (even with the volume as low as it can go) is too distracting for me to listen to it and read (maybe I just have short attention span though). Theme: The theme itself is hilarious, being a chicken on a murder mission. If this is developed more in the future, maybe having more endings would be cool, like after the chicken is free to see what they do with their freedom, or having one where the chicken and farmer reconcile their differences and become friends. Engagement: I know it's not particularly important, but there are many typos and grammar errors. A few isn't bad, but there are too many here where it is a bit distracting from what I am actually reading.
I agree with what you said, Tina. The biggest difficulty I had was with the text color and the audio was also very distracting for me. However, the story is very funny and unique! I would love to see some different backgrounds, illustrations, or even a small animation that could add to the comedy (if adding gifs are possible, idk). Maybe like an among us inspired quick animation of the chicken stabbing the farmer- that would be really funny loll
